The longest running Catholic men’s conference in the country celebrates its 28th year on November 18, 2023! The annual Great Lakes Catholic Men’s Conference promises to be a day full of inspiration and hope, drawing close to a thousand men.
Men will explore what it means to offer praise to God and how to be a person of hope and joy, leading their families and friends closer to God. This year’s conference takes its theme from Jesus’ words to His Apostles when He says, “Behold, I am withyou always.”
This year's conference speakers include acclaimed speaker and author of five books, including two best-sellers, Justin Fatica; the host of “Father Simon Says” on Relevant Radio, affectionately known as “Reverend Know-It-All”, Rev. Richard Simon; and the host of the popular video series “Reel Homilies” and national Eucharistic preacher commissioned to travel the country preaching about the gift of the Eucharist, Rev. Timothy Anastos. The event will be emceed by the popular National Anthem Singer for the Cubs, Wayne Messmer.
The Conference will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Holmes Student Center on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.
Besides speakers, the program includes music, reflection time, Mass, and lunch. It is open to married, single and divorced men including fathers, teenage sons,and grandfathers, whatever their level of faith.
The cost of the Conference is $45 if registered or mailed by October 30, $50 after October 20, $55 at the door, $25 for college students or younger, $10 for deacons, lunch and parking included.
