Direction For Our Times

Direction For Our Times was founded by Anne, a lay apostle. In 2003, she began receiving messages from Jesus by Inner Locution and He directed her to start a journal.  Ultimately, He requested her to disseminate the writings given her. All writings were submitted to her local Bishop in Ireland and the commission he appointed to investigate for approval. You can learn more about Anne and the apostolate from the introduction which appears in all of the writings, including 20 pamphlets, 10 volumes and at least half a dozen other books. Or check the website, www.directionforourtimes.org where most are available for free download. All of the writings have the Nihil Obstat and the Imprimatur which are an official declaration that a book or pamphlet is free of doctrinal or moral error and that ecclesiastical permission for its publication has been granted. The books and pamphlets include messages from God the Father, Jesus, Mary and many saints and invite us to be a part of a great mission of mercy. St. Bridget has started a prayer group; if you have questions about the movement or you’re interested in becoming a part of this lay apostolate contact us.

Spirit Aflame Charismatic Prayer Group

The purpose of this prayer group is prayer, praise, and worship for personal spiritual growth and in support of the priests, parish and others. Most who attend this prayer group also are involved in other ministries in the parish but additionally attend this prayer meeting. The group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. The meeting consists of: songs of praise and worship; prayers for healing and other intercessory prayers; Scripture readings and reflections that assist with personal spiritual growth; and learning to more fully utilize the power and Gifts of the Holy Spirit in living the committed Christian Life.
