National Vocation Awareness Week (Nov. 3-9) is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations. Please join us in praying the following intentions during National Vocation Awareness Week ...
We ask the Holy Spirit to renew the Church with more vocations to sacramental marriage, priesthood, and consecrated life.
For Catholic educators to inspire students to remain open to God’s call for their lives.
For parents as they live their own vocation to sacramental marriage, that they will encourage their children to consider God's call for their life and pray for them to respond with courage to his invitation to "Follow Me" if he calls them to priestly or religious vocation.
For young men from our parish to respond to the Church’s need for priests and we pray for the seminarians from our parish as they continue their studies and discernment.
For young men and women in our parish to consider making vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in religious life.
For Msgr. Knox, Fr. Linkenheld, and Fr. Filipski, we give you thanks for their “yes” to following your call to the priesthood and for their faithful service to the people of St. Bridget.
For the priests and religious who have served our parish and have passed from this life, that the Lord grant them eternal rest.
