Respect Life

During the month of October - we will be praying for LIFE – from the moment of natural conception to natural death. October is Respect Life Month.

Monday Morning Prayer – Every Monday morning in October at 9:30, you can join other Catholics to pray the Rosary at 611 Auburn Street to end abortion. Join us on October 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Diocesan Holy Hour for Life – Saturday, October 5, at The Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St., Rockford. The Holy Hour begins after the 8:00 am Mass and ends at 9:30am or St.  Patrick in McHenry at 3:00pm.

Holy Hour for Life – Friday, October 11, from 7:00-7:45pm in the Church. We will pray the Rosary, Litany for Life, and have silent prayer time. This will also be live streamed.

Memorial to the Unborn – Saturday, September 14, at Calvary Cemetery at 10:00am. There will be reflections, music, prayers, and the praying of the Rosary.  Bring lawn chairs, rosaries, and flowers if desired.

24 Hour Rosary – Tuesday, October 22, the feast day of Saint John Paul II, a great supporter of life. May we pray for the dignity and respect of all life from the moment of natural conception to the moment of natural death. Sign ups will be at all Masses on October 19 and 20 in the Narthex.  

Respect Life Mass - Saturday, October 19, at 8:15 am. The Respect Life Rosary will be prayed before Mass.

Respect Life Novena – October 22- October 30.  Access Respect Life Novena Prayers.

Pro Life Rally - Join many others to stand up for life on Saturday, October 26, from 11:00am to Noon at 611 Auburn Street in Rockford. There will be signs available to hold. The Rosary will be prayed.
